After-School Program
Founded in 2013, The Potter's Hand Trust has been touching the lives of young children by enusring that each child recieves primary education, nutrition and clothing, most of whose parents are daily wage labourers and workers in Padappai Village, 60 kms from Chennai.
We run tuition centers to help children have a strong foundation. These centers also serve as a day care center until the parents come and pick their children after work. They also serve as a safe haven for girl children and protects them from physical abuse.
We run various livelihood programmes for the parents of these children. We teach them skills such as tailoring and embroidery, etc.
We have helped improve the lives of a few hundred children in the last 7 years. This year we have planned to reach beyond Padappai and tranform the life of these children with your help and support.
